Linda Dantonio opened Seaporium at 645 Main Street in the fall of 2015 and has become a must visit destination for those looking for unique gifts and décor. Linda is an artist who upcycles furniture in her own store, as well as selling the works of 18 other local artists. One of her artists is 3 Sister Mermaids- they bedazzle mermaid prints, creating one of a kind art pieces. Rosie Marshall makes beautiful wire woven jewelry with weaving so intricate you have to see to believe. Seaporium also offers work from Washashore Whimsy, Che Pecat, and Fairy Miniatures by Liz Crichlow, who handcrafts her designs to create 3-D scenes from her books. One of the best things about visiting Seaporium is the experience of chatting with Linda and letting her tell you a story about every artist and piece in her store. Her knowledge and appreciation of the work Seaporium offers is something you can only experience by shopping locally and getting to know your local business owners. Linda is busy gearing up for the busy summer season right now but plans on offering more classes at Seaporium later in the year. If you haven’t stopped in already, don’t miss out on this fabulous Main Street business!
